Our global retail client is looking to hire a Demand and Supply Planning Manager for UAE.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

Sales forecast/Demand planning process

 

· Elaborate the forecast for all regular products

· Setting up and maintaining monthly demand planning cycle i.e., monthly rolling order forecasts, promotional forecasts and conducting plausibility checks prior to upload in ERP system

· Collect and challenge sales and marketing’s information for new products

· Coordinate and animate the sales forecast validation (demand review and S&OP meetings)

· Control that forecast valuation is in line with the Finance budget data

 

Supply Planning & Inventory management

 

· Based on forecast, calculate the needs and control the purchase orders accordingly

· Monitor and analyze regional stock levels

· Keeping high priority/focus on ensuring that supply is closely followed up and secure adequate stock levels

· Proactively propose and follow up on E&O stock reduction plans

· Build up future stock levels to anticipate any corrective action

· Communicate timely to Sales and Marketing teams any important deviation vs initial forecast (change of availability, risk of stock out, shipment issues etc.)

· Support decision making process for product allocation and prioritizations in case of product shortages.

 

Reporting and performance management

 

· Generate and analyze the monthly supply chain dashboard

· Consistently strive to improve the KPIs (forecast accuracy/fill rate/inventory ratios)

· Explain main deviations and propose corrective actions

· Provide accurate projections and reporting to the management

· Provide purchases & inventory projections for Budget

 

Our Ideal Candidate

- Education in Supply Chain or Logistics Management

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG/Retail/Beauty industry

- Proven track record in demand planning, forecasting and inventory management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must

- Advanced level of Excel is mandatory

- Working knowledge of ERP systems
