Job Summary
  • The Strategic Account Manager has TOTAL Solutions scope and is focused on leading the development and execution of strategies resulting in profitable growth through increased penetration of the Strategic Account.
  • The Strategic Account Manager is the guardian of customer relationship, orchestrating the development of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive product, service, and solutions to the Strategic Account; and to optimize the opportunities to create mutually valued productivity, growth, and profitability.
  • The Strategic Account Manager leads the B2B Alignment of the Customer Management Team and the Organizations’ Management Teams to drive the Key Strategic Initiatives or Programs of the Site Management Team and position the Organization as the enabler of more efficient and effective business results through the collaboration with the Organization. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for building an effective and impactful Global Account Team.
  • The main objective of this position is to drive the Organizations’ Solution as “The Supplier of First Choice” by managing the account.

Job Description
  • Primary purpose of the job is to work in Collaboration with the BU’s and other cross functional team for business development and achieve sales targets.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop a true business partnership with the Organizations’ Client, its subsidiaries, and JVs in Saudi Arabia and overseas-if required as well as facilitating senior management level relationships on C-level.
  2. Understand the Organizations’ Client vision, communicate internally within the Organization and align both organizations on longer term objectives.
  3. Leverage existing and develop new relationships with key executive decision-makers to position the Organization as a preferred supplier of Technology, Products, Services and Solutions
  4. Develop and manage the execution of a multi-faceted comprehensive account plan covering all major business units at both the corporate and site level
  5. Manage and direct the work and activities of the Strategic Account Team, organize, and manage the team as a single organization focused on the customer’s business.
  6. Develop smart KPI’s against which strategic account team’s performance is measured.
  7. Ensure BU plans and key initiatives are consistent with account plans and are implemented in a timely professional manner. Assimilate BU personnel & Site Team Leaders into the Strategic Account Core Team.
  8. Understand all aspects of the Organization’s business, market needs and competitive environment
  9. Create a strong awareness of the Organizations’ Solution’s capabilities throughout the Client Organization
  10. Provide direction & lead Local team to engage with specific program (e.g., sustainability, Cybersecurity, etc.) to maximize value to the Account.
  11. Investigating feasibility of new businesses, and identifying new opportunities within the accounts
  12. Developing of strategic customer business plans, fully integrated with business, technology, and collaboration Center.
  13. Analyse competitive marketplace and industry trends to accordingly develop business strategies for growth direction.
  14. Support marketing team in developing sales and marketing strategies on branding the organization in those accounts.
  15. Address customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  16. Work with business units to identify new sits/customers and to retain existing clients.
  17. Understanding of the client’s business and the major factor/s trends with need analysis pro-actively and develop future business development opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline or equivalent
  • MBA Desirable
  • Fluent in English/Arabic Language-Written and spoken.
