Our client a fast-paced FinTech Enterprise servicing consumers and Entities (Govt/Private) in the Financial Sector in the UAE is looking to hire a Senior Manager - IT Operations

Role Summary
IT Operations Manager oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of an organization’s information technology (IT) department, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. IT operations manager lead teams that overlock, manage, maintain, and enforce an IT infrastructure that is in line with the company's vision and the strategic direction of IT. including managing networks and servers, and monitor system stability and performance. As well as level 1 and 2 Application and Infrastructure support. IT Operations manager and the team reporting to this role will be managing/responsible to maintain/ monitor relationships and SLAs, KPIs pertaining to IT infrastructure and Support vendors as well as those agreed with business. Moreover, will represent the "face of IT" to the staff of the company and our external Data Providers and Subscribers. A key part of the role will be to create a culture of high customer service quality and prompt response to issues raised.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 3-4 Staff and outsource vendors resources responsible for network and security 
operations, Systems and server’s operations, and data base operations.
• Manage, develop, and maintain SLAs and KPIs to monitor performance, service, and quality internally and 
with key IT Operation vendors.
• Monitor and manage the day-to-day running of our Infrastructure platform ensuring prompt resolution of any 
issues that occur.
• Evaluate and enhance the company's IT Infrastructure/Operation to meet the growing and/or changing business 
requirements while ensuring our IT Infrastructure investments meets the company's business needs.
• Evaluate and recommend to IT management a selection of solutions and services which will support the company's vision and objectives.
• Develop close and productive IT Operation Vendor relationships ensuring the company gets the best value for money and great service.
• Ensure the change management process is followed by certifying sign-off of operational readiness for new changes introduced to the Production environment (including performance assessment, HW resources, operating manuals, escalation paths, etc.).
• Develop and maintain capacity planning procedures and processes to proactively meet business requirements and growth.
• Supervise the installation of HW/Software changes to the Production environment, defining and maintaining the proper change, release, deployment, and configuration management procedures.
• Put in place Production application monitoring processes and systems so that the company has full visibility on the status of all applications, including proactive alerts to identify potential problems before they occur.
• Build a knowledge management and SOP repository to foster process improvement and knowledge transfer, related to network and security, systems and servers, and database.

Experience and Knowledge

1. Minimum experience of 10 years in managerial role reporting into CEO or equivalent.
2. Proven experience working successfully in an IT leadership team ITIL Certification.
3. Proficient with all aspects of IT Operation Management, techniques and principle.
4. Possess a high degree of analytical skills and high-level computer skills.

Education & Skills

1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Information Technology.
2. Master’s Degree in Information Technology. 
3. Proficient in English. 
4. Proficient in Arabic. 
5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
