  • Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating full range of commercial contracts and other legal documents.
  • Act as a member of the PM vertical team meetings, oversee the work of legal counsel and other legal team members of the verticals
  • Conduct legal research, supervising researchers and summarising research on procedural matters for other members of the legal department.
  • Supervising renewal of corporate licences and other authorizations.
  • Proactively Identifying legal risks, advising clients on measures to mitigate such risks.
  • Assess the strength and weaknesses of cases prior to litigation and assist with the follow up work related to such cases and implementation of litigation strategies.
  • Oversee allocated litigation cases, liaise with and manage local advocates and ensure court deadlines are met and cases handled in the best interest of the Group and in a timely manner.
  • Advise on and keep abreast of the regional laws KSA, particular with regard to corporate, commercial and labour law matters pertaining to the business Group as well as international best practice in relation thereto.
  • Advising clients on legal aspects of their business matter, and attending meetings, as necessary.
  • Advising senior management on company and JV structures/re-structures.
  • Negotiating complex transactions, including multi-jurisdiction transactions.
  • Negotiating settlements.
  • Advise PM senior management with respect to potential mergers and acquisitions and assist with integrating acquired assets into the organization.
  • Provide training to members of PM with respect to legal processes and compliance obligations.
  • Work with other support services groups to ensure that the company is aware of, and in compliance with, changes to laws and legislation.
  • Support ad help design, deliver the compliance program
  • Ensure all corporate filings for legal entities within the Business Verticals structure are up to date and in order.
  • Attend QBRs of each PM division.
  • Regularly attend the offices of each PM division.
  • Track action matters and submit monthly actions list report and further information as required to HoL.
  • Design presentations and train PM business teams on areas of interest, such as compliance, commercial contracting, IP matters etc.

Qualification

Bachelors Law Degree from a Western Jurisdiction, UK, US, Europe, New Zealand, AUS,
