Our client a fast-paced FinTech Enterprise servicing consumers and Entities (Govt/Private) in the Financial Sector in the UAE is looking to hire a Senior IT Enterprise Architecture.

Role Summary
The Senior Enterprise Architect’s (SEA) primary responsibility is to translate business requirements into technical requirements that mainly contain a full solution design including systems interactions with each other, satisfy all business requirements and can be communicated to vendors for execution. Therefore, SEA has the role to interact with BAs to understand functional and non-functional requirements and on the other end interact with PMs to maintain an updated tracker of change requests that are analysed and estimated to be ready for the release management plans. The SEA is also requested to lead the end-to-end solution design and solution architecture for integrated change requests, ensuring the proper architectural documentation is produced and kept up to date. The SEA is responsible of introducing architectural improvements to the current IT implementations and environments.
 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

? Oversee building complex API architectures, documentation, and integrations with different enterprise systems and different technology stacks.

? Interact with System Analysts to discuss functional requirements, alternative solutions, feasibility, and define the implementation guidelines.

? Interact with Project Managers to maintain an updated tracker of all completed and in progress CR’s and its estimations, to enable the PM to have a clear understanding of the capacity and delivery pipeline.

? Supports the System Analysts to identify the impacted interfaces required to deliver the change request.

? Contribute to best approach strategies for implementation based on requirement analysis.

? Lead/participate in development of POC’s, prototypes.

? Prepare technical architecture/solution designs for complex projects with industry standards.

? Maintain and update a technical solution flow diagram for all services and products at AECB.

? Compare recommended solution with existing network topology to avoid duplication and over complications.

? Maintain full documentation on all changes and project related minutes in a shared folder for easy and secured access.

? Interact and consult vendors while preparing the low level technical requirements.

? Discuss changes and requirements from both internal and external stakeholders of the company.

? Insure adherence to corporate priorities and available budget in alignment with DevPa members.

? Contribute to the preparation and amendment of RFPs in relationship to IT Development requirements and AECB strategic roadmap.

? Review and monitor vendor performance on EA related activities through agreed KPIs and SLAs.

? Monitor, report, and improve assigned departmental KPIs and SLAs.

? Lead end-to-end solution design for complex change requests that impact multiple systems, preparing the necessary

documentation and making sure the architectural documents and guidelines are up-to-date.

? Ensure compliance of the software solutions with all AECB policies, especially in terms of security and confidentiality

? Ensure in all the delivered solutions are meeting the minimum requirement of long term sustainability as well as high availability and Disaster Recovery requirements.

? Ensure applications' documentation is up-to-date and available in the company's knowledge management system

? Outlines the end-to-end solution design for the change, identifying who needs to do what from development perspective.

? Conducts effort estimations with all involved development teams.

? Ensures approval of effort estimations.

? Be part of IT development enterprise architecture team to do peer to peer support on demand for business continuity

? Informed on analysis and low level technical documentation preparation progress on periodic manner for all owned CRs.

 

Experience and Knowledge

1. Over 5 years’ experience in IT, Software development lifecycle and application management.

2. 5 Years of Technical experience as a solution architect in the financial sector or similar industries

3. Strong solution and enterprise architecture knowledge based on TOGAF standards Required

4. Experience in project management, process design, implementation, and application architecture

6. Experience in one or more of the following platforms: Credit Bureau, ERP, CRM, CMS, BI, ETL, API

Gateway, Digital Channels and Analytics

6. Experience in managing integrated architectures and systems (complex integration with 5-year

systems to fulfil complex business processes)

7. Experience building and creating ecosystems with complex architecture on Digital, Microservices,

Cloud, D365 CRM/ERP and open stack technologies

1. Able to deal with varied tasks and to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets

2. Able to work effectively and responsibly without close supervision
