Role Summary

We are seeking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our client's new business set up in the Middle East. Our client is large business conglomerate in the CIS region, and they are expanding their operations in the UAE.

You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue goals. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the logistics industry to identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and manage a high-performing sales team.


  • Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy to expand our client base and achieve sales targets for assigned territories.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and understand customer needs within the logistics sector.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in potential and existing client companies.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase our comprehensive suite of logistics solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Role Requirements (Must-Haves):

  • Minimum 10-15 years of successful sales experience in a multinational logistics company. (Air & Sea)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with a consultative selling approach.
  • Data-driven and analytical with a strong understanding of sales metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
  • The ability to work independently while also effectively managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to grow the business operations in the UAE region.
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to motivate and coach sales teams.
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
