Job Description The Technology Partnerships & Alliances Manager/Director will lead the development and management of strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the delivery of Healthcare Digital Platforms. This role focuses on fostering relationships with technology vendors, healthcare organizations, and other stakeholders to drive innovation, interoperability, and adoption of cutting-edge solutions, particularly those leveraging Microsoft Azure and healthcare standards like FHIR and HL7. The role requires expertise in healthcare technology ecosystems, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to align partnerships with organizational goals in Abu Dhabi’s healthcare landscape. Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, healthcare organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance platform capabilities and interoperability.
Alliance Management: Oversee and nurture relationships with partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration of technologies such as IRIS for Health, Azure services, and healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, CDA).
Technology Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure partner technologies (e.g., Rhapsody, Ensemble, Azure-based solutions) integrate effectively with existing platforms, supporting microservices and event-driven architectures.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal teams, clients, and external partners to align partnership initiatives with business requirements, ensuring solutions meet functional and compliance needs (e.g., HIPAA, OWASP).
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors providing solutions like Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and healthcare integration tools, ensuring optimal performance and value.
Innovation and Strategy: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and standards through partnerships, staying informed about industry trends and evolving healthcare standards to enhance platform capabilities.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms that support scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of partnership agreements, integration plans, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical leads, application architects, and data specialists to ensure partnership technologies align with architectural designs and business goals.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential partners and technologies that can enhance healthcare solutions, focusing on interoperability, data analytics, and user experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience: 10+ years in technology partnership management, business development, or alliance management, with at least 5 years in healthcare technology or related fields.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, CDA, EDI) and clinical terminologies (SNOMED, CPT, LOINC).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of application architectures, including microservices and event-driven designs.
Understanding of API design and security practices (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, OWASP).
Awareness of development frameworks like Java (Spring Boot), .NET, React JS, and React Native.
Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, healthcare organizations, and other stakeholders.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and security standards to ensure partner solutions meet compliance requirements.
Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge technical and business perspectives, facilitating collaboration between diverse stakeholders.
Negotiation Skills: Expertise in negotiating contracts and partnership agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
