Our client is now recruiting for an  Investment Analyst - M&A & Strategy

The role presents an opportunity to join one of the world’s most active fintech investors, with more than $5.7bn invested globally in payments and fintech M&A and investments.

Responsibilities

As an investment analyst in the M&A and strategy team, the candidate will be responsible to:

• Conduct market research and analysis of potential investment targets in the fintech space (payments, credit, crypto, etc)
• Create financial models and perform valuation analysis of companies based on different methodologies (DCF, DDM, multiples)
• Support on the preparation of investment memorandums and other materials for our Investment Committee
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies on a regular basis
• Collaborate with business teams on strategy development to help them develop business plans and strategic analysis
• Being involved in other ad-hoc projects for the team

Requirements

• Have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business/ Finance / Economics from a top tier university
• Have a minimum of 1-year experience, preferably within an investment banking firm, investment management form (venture capital or private equity), strategy consulting firm, or corporate development role
• Have excellent quantitative skills and financial modelling skills including the ability to perform valuation (DCF and multiples),  market sizing, and KPI analysis
• Fluency in business English, with excellent communication, writing skills, and presentation skills
• Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail while dealing with large amounts of information and working on multiple projects at the same time

• Experience in Fintech/Payments/E-commerce sector is a plus
