Our client is searching for an experienced and results-oriented Fleet Operations Manager to join their growing team in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of their fleet of service vehicles, ensuring they are reliable and readily available to assist their customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle scheduling, dispatch, and maintenance.
  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with UAE regulations regarding registration, licensing, and road worthiness.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle lifespan.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers for fuel, maintenance, repairs, and vehicle cleaning.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Oversee the activities of dispatchers and ensure efficient allocation of service vehicles to customer requests.
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle history, repairs, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including dispatchers, mechanics, and customer service representatives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient fleet operations and driver safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Investigate and report on incidents involving vehicles.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices in fleet management.

Requirements:
  • Eight (8) years of experience in fleet management or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong understanding of UAE regulations pertaining to vehicle registration, licensing, and road worthiness.
  • Experience in managing a team of drivers, operators etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with fleet management software (preferred).
  • Arabic language fluency (highly desirable). English language proficiency.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
