The digital media specialist must stay up to date with all the latest trends and understand the targeted audience for each social channel. Hence, determine the best practices in the market, the brand and its products or services along with creating persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience, and unique to the typical interactions of each channel.
Conducting market research to identify client and customer segments, habits, and trends in social media.
Manage and create a database in social media to raise awareness and obtain superior customer engagement and intimacy on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter Linkedin, Meetup etc.
Monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design and manage the social media calendars including supporting photo shoots, copywriting brand-focused messages for regular scheduled posts and listing.
Develop implementation of a wide range of content forms, including video, text, still imagery, animation, live-action and other content forms that best utilize the technology available on any given social media/digital platform and ensure brand guidelines are met.
Develop and optimize strategic, marketing plans and associated budget/scope across campaigns and channels and sustain existing and gain new followers.
Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing and sales campaigns with the business development and marketing teams.
Assist in the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the websites and social media uploading or editing content where applicable.
Working and liaising with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing projects on social media, promotional events, campaigns, develop engaging, creative, and innovative social media content.
Track and improve performance through specific digital marketing metrics, KPIs and OKRs.
Analyze and provide reports for social media accounts of the brands performance and efficiency (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, YouTube etc.).
Track relevant social media influencers to enhance brand reputation and extend reach through influencer channels.
Prepares and presents reports of Marketing developments and achievements periodically to senior management.
Assist in customer service issues from all brands’ social media platforms and coordinate with the relevant internal departments.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, Zoho and Slack
Proficiency in using social media platforms and digital marketing tools and apps.
