Role Summary:

The Compliance Intern will assist the Compliance Manager and the wider Group Compliance & Rules Team in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations at local level. Responsibilities include monitoring the regulatory environment, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with various departments to uphold compliance standards and establish best practices. Specifically, Compliance Intern will support Compliance Manager in:

  • Daily monitoring and reporting of pertinent GCC laws and regulations, with a specific focus on UAE and KSA.
  • Drafting, implementing, and monitoring local policies and procedures based on corporate standards.
  • Coordinating with HQ and local functions on day-to-day requests, project management, and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the Group Compliance & Rules team for local implementation of compliance programs.
  • Managing external counsels, consultants, and third-party suppliers of compliance services.

Requirements

  • Passion for pursuing a career in the automotive sector.
  • Hold a degree in law or economics.
  • Fluent in English (proficiency in Italian, Arabic, or Russian would be a plus).
  • Proficient in utilizing new technologies, tools, and applications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Possess a valid driving license, autonomous in commuting to the office.
