Responsibilities: Operations: •Direct the planning and managing of farming operations and handle business administration •Manage and oversee the day-to-day agricultural operations of the business unit •Track operational output measures and anticipate trends that compromise achievement of targets •Review processing schedules to make decisions about different requirements as inventory/staffing and others with consideration to budget and time •Ensure agricultural standards are followed and new technologies are adopted to increase efficiency and production •Oversee different phases of agricultural production from planting to harvest and their logistics for exporting and commercialization •Implement and manage human and food safety practices for different internal and external parties •Demonstrate understanding of new products and solutions and presenting them to partners and their customers when needed •Develop strategies to improve overall quality, efficiency, and productivity •Develop and maintain a risk management framework and effective communication plan •Review and oversee weekly and monthly financial reports and budgets •Build professional networks and stay ahead of developments in the business •Create business plans to support the company’s financial objectives •Present and report outcomes to top management when required •Achieve and run expected benchmarks on P&L •Drive efficiency analysis and ongoing process improvement
