The advanced digital architect team is an important part of the new digital unit of business engagement solutions (Engage X) that will be facilitating this communication renaissance. The advanced digital architect is responsible for delivering the technical win and product fit for customer accounts. They build customer trust in The Client’s CPaaS solutions, which results in customer success in the post-sale. The advanced digital architect leads the technical pre-sales relationship, proposes technical architectures, demonstrates the product, anticipates concerns, and offers creative solutions. The advanced digital architect is both technical and a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable showing an engaging communications experience to a CEO or sketching out an API flow on a whiteboard with customer software engineers. The Key Performance Metric for The advanced digital architect is the sales plan that includes monetary and non-monetary metrics like: revenue, Number of PoCs done, Number of opportunities created, number of projects won.
Role principal functions
Accountable for leading and define the overall design, from business / client requirements to technical requirements and deliver the complete solution for the customer in collaboration with various stakeholders related to Digital Solutions
Coordinates relevant technical activities between product management & delivery
Involved in sales and presales activities as subject matter expert
Provides technical support across digital specific areas as well as sales and delivery
Role duties & responsibilities
Build the solution design including technical architecture, operating processes, economics, benefits and evolution. Translate business requirements throughout the architecture procedure and deliver technical solutions in accordance with architecture standards, and design specifications for complex projects
Engage with vendors and attend technical forums to keep updated on state-of-the-art technology and the latest technology in complex projects
Think out-of-the-box design innovative solutions
Ability to develop complex proposals in quality and time, integrating different components from internal and external sources
Collaborate with business development & product marketing team across digital solutions to find opportunities for and showcase ideas in the Innovation and emerging business pipeline
Communicate the value proposition with clear and compelling reasoning
Understanding the Solutions by major players and vendors using advanced technical expertise
Evaluate new opportunities, services or updates in the business market and define solution characteristics (including price & tariff)
Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training
Support the sales team in presenting the solution design and benefits to the customer
Review, understand, analyze, and evaluate technology trends and new business models ideas
Apply and utilize appropriate methods to ensure results oriented deliverables in a way that can be recreated and leveraged as intellectual capital
Role required experience
5+ years pre-sales experience selling technical products.
Ability to build a deep understanding of a customer's communications needs and guide them to a technical solution
Experience building with REST APIs
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture.
Previous experience in A2P Messaging, SIP, or Contact Center is a plus.
Built apps based on Twilio, Sinch, IMIMobile, Infobip APIs, a big plus
Experience in building and implementing workflows.

Form a deep understanding of customer businesses and their problems, gather requirements.
Lead and coordinate team in working on RFPs / customer's technical requirements
Build and present product demos to help showcase what The Client’s CPaaS product can do. Assist customers with Pilot and Proof-of-Concept implementations
Continuously learn new products and new technologies. Build trusted advisor relationships with customers
Work alongside The Client’s Sales through the pre-sales process, to strategize and plan for deal success. Educate and mentor customers, partners, and colleagues on what's possible with The Client’s CPaaS
Present creative new solutions that enable and inspire innovation. Build demos and proof of concepts to demonstrate various use cases and identify new use cases for The Client’s CPaaS's APIs
Create technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices for new technologies. Create sales tools and collateral including presentations, data sheets, case studies, demo videos, and white papers.
Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
