Job Description: Project Manager – Card Processing and Migration Programs Contract Duration: 12 months (with a possibility of extension) Employment Type: Outsourced through ManpowerGroup Middle East Industry: Payment (Issuing Background Required) Location: Cairo , Egypt. Introduction: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in migration of card processing and card issuance to join our MSA team on a contract basis. This role will focus on managing merchant relationships and overseeing the migration and processing of co-brand programs. Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Relationship Development:
Lead and manage projects related to merchant accounts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants and actively pursue new business opportunities.
Deliver compelling pitches and negotiate agreements to secure and grow profitable business ventures.
Co-Brand Program and Migration Management:
Oversee the end-to-end management of existing and new co-brand programs, including prospecting, negotiations, and contracting.
Coordinate the migration of existing co-brand programs to new systems or platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless transitions.
Ensuring effective integration with existing card processing systems and alignment with business objectives.
Card Processing Optimization:
Manage the processing of co-branded and standard card transactions, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Identify and resolve issues related to card processing, working closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize performance and address any challenges.
Conduct thorough analysis of card processing data to enhance system performance and improve transaction outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with various functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation) and global teams to execute projects effectively.
Leverage internal resources and expertise to deliver optimal solutions and achieve project objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in project management, with extensive experience in payment processing and card issuance, particularly with co-brand programs.
Skills:
Proven ability to manage complex pipelines, negotiate business agreements, and drive commercial results.
In-depth understanding of program management best practices, including migration processes and card processing systems.
Expertise in managing cards/co-brand portfolio P&L with a strong analytical focus, preferably across multiple markets and industries such as airlines and hotels.
Demonstrated success in sales and relationship management, with the capability to interact effectively with C-level executives within client organizations.
Skilled in negotiating business agreements and developing new business partnerships with merchants.
Strong ability to build and leverage relationships internally and externally at multiple levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of successful project execution.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
